Six Star: Pre-Workout Explosion Review

10/24/2018

Hey guys it's Noah and I got a supplement review for you guys. At long last I have a pre-workout to review. It is called Pre-Workout Explosion and it's by Six Star Pro Nutrition. It promises extreme energy, focus, and intensity, explosive muscle pumps and fuels muscle growth and performance. Also I will be talking about the 2 scoop serving which brings the servings in this down to 15 servings. Does it live up to these promises? Well, let's take a look at the ingredient list and after I will share my experience and if you should buy this product.

Ingredient List:

Beta-Alanine-3g: Helps reduce fatigue during exercise, improves endurance, and increases muscle growth. The clinical dosage is at the minimum 3.2g so this pre-workout falls a little short in beta-alanine.

Creatine Monohydrate-3g: Increases strength and power and builds muscle. It also improves recovery. The clinical dosage is between 5 and 10 grams so this is under dosed.

L-Arginine Alpha Ketoglutarate-2.2g: Gives larger and longer lasting pumps. This is a good dose.

Advanced Pump Complex-1g

Taurine: Increases protein synthesis and enhances mood and focus. It also allows you to use fat as energy. Dosages range from 1.5 to 3g.

L-Citrulline: Increases ATP production and decreases muscle soreness. It also gives big pumps. Dosages are effective between 3 and 5g.

L-Citrulline Malate: Provides big pumps without having to load it like you do with pure L-Citrulline. Dosages are effective between 6 and 8g.

L-Arginine HCl: Arginine combined with hydrogen chloride to enhance absorption by the digestive system.

Before I go on to the next blend, I would like to say that the ingredients in the pump complex are MASSIVELY under dosed.

Pre-Workout Explosion Blend-510mg

Caffeine Anhydrous(270mg): Provides fast and hard hitting energy and helps burn fat as well.

Choline Bitartrate: Nootropic used for increased focus. Recommended dosage is 1g.

L-Tyrosine: Increases thermogenisis and enhances cognitive performance. The lowest dose to be effective is 2g.

So there we have the ingredient list. Almost every ingredient in this is under dosed which takes us into the effectiveness. If you are a beginner this may be a good pre-workout for you. But for me this pre-workout didn't do much for me. There was a little energy and a tiny bit of focus. There was barely any pump and no strength gain. Now let's talk about taste. I had icy rocket freeze flavor and I gotta say it was amazing but the mixability wasn't amazing. Now comes the value. This costs 15 bucks for 30 servings or 15 bucks for 15 servings. You get what you pay for with this product. The value is good if you are a beginner. But I would not recommend this to anyone who isn't a beginner to pre-workouts. Id give the effectiveness a 3 out of 5, taste a 5 out of 5, mixability a 4 out of 5, and value a 3 out of 5. Sorry Six Star but this isn't the best product. I hope this helps you guys make a decision on whether or not to buy this product. Have a great day and if you hit the gym, KILL IT!
