MuscleTech: Nitro-Tech Casein Gold Review

Another supplement review for you! It's a casein protein powder by a big brand, the product is called Nitro-Tech Casein Gold. The company that makes this is MuscleTech. Now I know you're probably thinking "big brands have shitty products", but some products that MuscleTech is coming out with right now are actually pretty good and I look forward to reviewing them. But we're here to talk about their casein protein powder that claims to be a superior casein protein. Before I get into the the protein blend and my opinion and the taste, mixability, and value, let's take a look at the ingredient list.

Overall this is a super clean label, but let's dive into the protein blend. The protein blend consists of milk protein isolate, calcium caseinate, and micellar casein. Overall the protein source isn't the best and highest quality. I would like to see 100% micellar casein. But now onto taste, I have the cookies and cream flavor and I must say it is very yummy, but you have to mix it with more than the recommended 8oz of water because it's very thick. The mixability is good as well, I would give both a 4 out of 5. Now for the value, this product goes for 40 bucks for 36 servings which I think is a decent value. The reason it isn't great is because this is a low quality casein formula. It does taste pretty good and mixes well, but there are other casein products I would recommend more.
